Every guy talks about marrying the girl next door. Well, Dave is quite literally marrying the girl next door – these two are currently next door neighbors. Their relationship started as friends – Kristin was friends with Dave’s roommate and would often come over to play board games. At one point Kristin made the decision that she was going to move away from Milwaukee. By the end of that summer, she would be gone. Of course, Dave decided this would be the perfect time to realize that he had feelings for Kristin.

I loved getting to photograph so many couples for their engagement sessions this year! Engagement sessions are so much fun for me. I really get to know my couples before their wedding and they get to know me in return.

Katie and Max managed to pick the PERFECT November day to take their engagement photos. With the weather we’ve had this fall, I wasn’t sure if we’d have snow on the ground or if it was going to be below zero. The square was littered with leaves that glowed in the evening light. The Capitol was decorated for the holidays with some stunning wreaths and some Christmas lights which allowed us to get some photos with fall vibes and others with winter vibes.

When Max asked Janna out to pizza, she decided it’d be a good idea to bring her roommate along! Although at first Max was a little skeptical, Janna was more comfortable around her.
