Cat and Reese have known each other since they were 13 years old! These two celebrated their summer Bowery Barn wedding surrounded by their closest family and friends who were so excited to finally see them tie the knot!
You could definitely tell how comfortable these two are together since they’ll be celebrating 7 years together later this year.
I loved their dusty rose color scheme paired with neutrals and some greenery. And of course Cat LOVES Crocs, so she wanted to wear those for her wedding day. She found the perfect pink pair to match the color scheme! As the ladies were getting ready they wore matching pajamas and we had some fun popping some champagne!
Their day had the most perfect weather and ran so smoothly! I really appreciated that they focused on what was important to them – something that was evident during the ceremony when they put together a cross which is now displayed in their home.
I really struggled to pick a favorite moment from this day! The whole day flowed seamlessly and there’s truly not a moment I would change. I loved seeing how excited these two families were to finally be joined together!
There was one moment that really stood out to me because it made everyone laugh! As Reese’s dad stood up to give a speech, he started talking about Reese, especially his strong work ethic. When he was done talking about Reese, he moved on to talk about Cat. “Now on to Cat”, he began before his emotions started to get the best of him. He paused for a moment to gather himself, and while he did, Cat decided to break the tension by loudly saying “that bad huh?” for the entire room to hear. The room erupted with laughter. It perfectly described how comfortable Cat is around her in-laws – Reese’s mom even mentioned how she has felt like a daughter to them for a long time now.
Cat and Reese – I appreciate how much you’ve welcomed me as a friend throughout the last year. I basically felt like part of the family on your wedding day! I’m SO happy you two found each other and how many things lined up in the universe for you two to meet. ENJOY life as a married couple and I hope you have LOTS of doggies, motorcycle rides, and laughs together in your future!
There was an amazing group of vendors that made this day possible – be sure to check them out!
