Liz and Tony had the ultimate DIY wedding. Their venue was Tony’s family’s property and they did pretty much everything themselves. From putting up the draping and lanterns in the venue, to building the stage and arch for their ceremony. Liz even custom made toasting flutes for every single guest with their name etched onto the glass. Pretty much every detail you saw, these two made themselves and it was SO impressive seeing everything come together.

Allie and Mark met through a mutual friend. Mark contacted Allie on Facebook messenger (thank goodness she responded!) and they started talking. They had their first date at Texas Roadhouse where Allie worked at the time and started dating shortly after. Their day was absolutely stunning from start to finish. They celebrated on the most perfect mid-September day – the sun was shining and the fall colors were just starting to peek out. I loved how heartfelt each moment of their day was.

Kristin and her dad swayed softly on the dance floor together. Suddenly, the beat drops. The song Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars starts blaring through the speakers. Kristin and her dad looked at each other – confused. Then they turned towards the crowd and broke into a coordinated dance! The crowd burst into laughter! After a minute the song changed back to the slow tune while Kristin and her dad immediately resumed their slow sway. This moment perfectly encapsulates Kristin and Dave’s wedding day – following traditions, but always adding their own flair to it!

It is SO hard to plan a wedding day and then have to make the difficult decision to cancel it. So I can’t blame Kara and Samuel for making the spontaneous decision to get married anyways after postponing their big party.

The music stopped. Everyone waited in anticipation. Then a familiar melody burst out of the speakers. The Star Spangled Banner began to play as Janna made her way towards her groom. Tears began to flow from Max’s eyes as he tried to contain his emotions. He placed his hand over his heart as the National Anthem continued to play and he saw his wife for the first time on their wedding day. Their wedding day was full of joy and laughter at the Wild Eagle Lodge in Eagle River, Wisconsin. This rustic Americana wedding is complete with American Flag suits and even a pontoon!
