Blush Summer Legend at Brandybrook Wedding

I am so excited to share this wedding with all of you. Katie and Austyn celebrated their summer Legend at Brandybrook wedding on the most beautiful May day! The entire day was incredibly smooth from start to finish which is a testament to Katie’s experience in the destination wedding business. Even though Katie works with destination weddings, these two wanted to get married close to home and it was quite the celebration!

Their Legend at Brandybrook Wedding Day

Katie and Austyn’s gorgeous wedding day started out with Katie getting ready at her parents home and Austyn getting ready at the Ingleside Hotel. You could sense the energy as they prepared for their wedding day. Katie wanted to honor her late grandma and included a hummingbird symbol in her bouquet as a special tribute to her.

They hired a party bus to transport everyone to the venue where Katie shared a first look with her dad. I always love when brides include this moment in their day – I always melt seeing the dad’s react to seeing their daughter as a bride for the first time.

Katie and Austyn held their wedding ceremony outside where everyone was treated to a live guitar music. As the processional started, the crowd went quiet and watched as the wedding party and the cutest “ring security” make their way down the aisle. Finally came the moment we had all been waiting for – Katie rounded the corner escorted by both of her parents. I glanced over to see Austyn’s face light up as he saw Katie for the first time.

The rest of their day was so much fun! We had amazing light on the golf course for portraits and everyone enjoyed some special touches at the reception. My favorite was the photobooth and instead of cake they had Leducs frozen custard! Yum! These two danced the night away with all of their friends and family!

My Favorite Moment

I loved the fact that they had a frozen custard bar – I haven’t seen that at many weddings! So that detail definitely deserves an honorable mention. However, my favorite moment was during the ceremony when the officiant had everyone in the wedding party lay hands on their rings. It felt like their entire wedding party was there to support them and their new marriage. This is definitely a really beautiful touch to add to any ceremony!

Katie and Austyn – I am SO glad I met Katie at that wedding show so long ago! You two have been so wonderful to work with and I’m grateful that I was able to be a part of your day! As you begin your married life together I hope that you continue to remember how many people love and support you – it was incredibly evident on your wedding day how much your families care about you. I hope you love your photos as much as I do!
