Fall Boise Foothills Engagement – Karina and Julian

I am so excited to share Karina and Julian’s fall Boise foothills engagement session with all of you! I had so much fun photographing them and their two sweet doggies in an area they enjoy spending time together.

Their Love Story

Karina and Julian are both avid runners so it was the obvious decision to join the track and field team when they started attending Whitworth University. Within a couple of weeks of meeting each other, Julian asked Karina out and clearly they hit it off because they’ve been together ever since!

After about four years of dating, Julian and Karina went on a backpacking trip near McCall with their dogs. They enjoyed spending time in the mountain air and it was right by the lake where Julian got down on one knee and proposed to Karina.

Their Fall Boise Foothills Engagement Session

I met up with Julian, Karina and their sweet dogs, Mango and ‘Nilla Bean, in the foothills. They chose this location because they enjoy running and hiking in the area so it made perfect sense for them to have their photos taken there. I love when people choose a location that means something to them.

We had the most perfect fall evening that ended with my favorite golden hour glow. This is why I always schedule engagement sessions for the evening. I also have to mention that Karina and Julian followed my style guide perfectly! The warm tones in their outfits went so well with the fall colors in the foothills! Their engagement session made me so excited for their wedding day next May!

Their Upcoming Wedding Day

Karina and Julian will be tying the knot at the gorgeous Deer Flat Ranch next May. One of the things they are most excited about is having a coffee date together on the morning of their wedding before they get ready. I think this is so sweet that they are starting the day off with each other. While we all anxiously await their wedding day, you can enjoy some of my favorite photos from their engagement session!
