Picture this – you’re 15 years old and you’re a freshman in high school. You meet a person that is really special and a year later you start dating them – and you never stop dating them. That’s what happened with Cat and Reese!
I am SO excited to share this session with all of you. There are some sessions where everything comes together – the light, the cute doggies, the outfits. Ahh! Everything about Brynn and Eric’s session was just PERFECT. The GLOW you see in these photos is the reason why I try and do most of my sessions during golden hour. It is just STUNNING.
2020 has thrown us all for a loop! I could probably fly to Europe and back three times with my flight vouchers from cancelled trips this year. This year, my hubby and I had plans to visit 3 National Parks – if you didn’t know we have a goal to visit ALL of the US National Parks someday! None of that happened obviously. But we still had planned vacation days and we decided to use them to explore our great state!
We decided on Perrot State Park (near Lacrosse) and Mirror Lake State Park (near Wisconsin Dells). We spent 5 days and 4 nights camping – 2 nights in each park. Here’s a recap of our trip! I hope it helps you think of some ideas to safely take a trip during a pandemic.
Lindsey and Mark met each other at work! Lindsey needed some help moving and Mark volunteered his truck to help with the move. That move later turned into drinks and great conversation where they realized they wanted to be more than coworkers. They dated secretly since their company was really small (they don’t recommend this by the way!) for almost six months!
These two were SO much fun. Mark let his personality shine in front of the camera and Lindsey’s laughter was infectious. Despite them telling me they were a bit nervous to be in front of the camera, they were TOTAL naturals.
Kristin and her dad swayed softly on the dance floor together. Suddenly, the beat drops. The song Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars starts blaring through the speakers. Kristin and her dad looked at each other – confused. Then they turned towards the crowd and broke into a coordinated dance! The crowd burst into laughter! After a minute the song changed back to the slow tune while Kristin and her dad immediately resumed their slow sway. This moment perfectly encapsulates Kristin and Dave’s wedding day – following traditions, but always adding their own flair to it!
