Honalee Farm Wedding

Nestled in the heart of Eagle, Idaho, Honalee Farm provided the perfect backdrop for Melissa and John’s summer wedding. With its picturesque landscapes and serene ambiance, this venue set the stage for a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.

Their Love Story

Melissa and John’s journey began over eight years ago at a local skating rink. Melissa was working there when John, captivated by her beauty, boldly approached her and asked for her number. Despite the rules against employees giving out their numbers, Melissa couldn’t resist John’s charm and nervously handed over her digits. Their connection blossomed through texts and hangouts, eventually leading to a beautiful relationship.

John’s proposal was nothing short of magical. On New Year’s Eve, amidst the excitement of the famous Idaho potato drop, he took Melissa to dinner downtown before heading to the Capitol. As the countdown to midnight began, John asked Melissa about her New Year’s resolutions. When she replied she had none, John seized the moment, got down on one knee, and expressed his resolution to spend the rest of his life with her. Melissa’s joyful “Yes!” marked the beginning of their next chapter together.

Their Honalee Farm Wedding Day

Their wedding day had beautiful sunny weather, perfect for an outdoor ceremony. Melissa and John’s choice of florals in tones of blush, light blue, and white added a touch of elegance to the already stunning venue. The wedding party was a lively bunch, keeping everyone entertained and laughing throughout the day. From the heartfelt vows to the lively reception, the celebration was filled with joy and love.

As the sun began to set, we captured the most breathtaking golden hour portraits, highlighting the couple’s love against the warm, glowing light. The night concluded with a streamer exit, leaving a trail of memories for everyone to cherish.

My Favorite Moment

One of the most memorable moments of the day was when the groom’s stepmom made a grand entrance in a giant pink inflatable shark costume. What started as a sweet first dance between her and the groom quickly turned into a hilarious and energetic performance of Gangnam Style. The groom’s family joined in, creating a fun and unforgettable experience that had everyone laughing and dancing along.
