Theresa and Chase are some of the most kind-hearted people I’ve met. So I was really excited to photograph their Boise foothills engagement session! These two share a love of travel and adventure while also parenting three amazing children and adorable pups. I love seeing how their blended family has come together in the sweetest way. It was apparent while working with them that they really love each other!

Their Boise Foothills Engagement

Theresa and Chase had their engagement session on a cloudy fall evening. The brightly colored yellow leaves wavered softly in the light breeze. Upon their arrival Theresa greeted me with the biggest smile and one of my favorite things – a Bath and Body Works Candle! Yay! As the kiddos piled out of the car we got ready to begin their session. It was a little bit chilly but once we got moving everyone had a lot of fun!

We had some beautiful light and we were really lucky to have some clouds in the sky! Normally you can’t get a photo with the mountains in the background in the evening in this location, but the clouds softened the light enough so we could get some dreamy mountain portraits!

One of the things I love about this location is that you can get photos with the Boise skyline in the background and also ones that look like they’re in the middle of nowhere. You get so much variety within a small area which is ideal for any session location.

Their Upcoming Wedding

I am so excited for their Chateau des Fleurs wedding next July! They are planning a smaller, family-oriented day. It will be the first official wedding after my move and I couldn’t ask for a better couple to kick off my Boise wedding season next year!
