Winter Brundage Mountain Wedding

Their Love Story

When a dog trainer and a welder/chef met, they seemed like an unlikely pair at first. But Jackie and Jon quickly bonded over their love of animals and more. Over the course of their wedding day, I heard several family members try and take credit for Jackie and Jon meeting, but regardless of who it was, these two connected right away and the rest was history!

Their Brundage Mountain Wedding Day

While some people might shy away from a winter wedding day, Jackie and Jon embraced it! At first when they told me their ceremony was going to be outdoors in January, I thought they were joking. But they weren’t! Of course, there’s no better place to have a winter wedding ceremony than at Brundage Mountain, complete with skiers and snowboarders in the background.

Even their outfits were tailored for the winter occasion. Jackie’s bridal shoes were a pair of white snow boots and I loved her fur shawl that she wore over her dress to look stylish yet warm. Their wedding consisted primarily of close family which made the day even more special.

After the ceremony, the group headed into the lodge restaurant for their reception. Of course, no winter wedding would be complete without a hot chocolate bar! I’m also still drooling over the amazing prime rib that the Brundage staff made. It was delicious! It was a wonderful evening filled with their first dances, cake cutting and a few toasts.

My Favorite Moment

One of the most important aspects of their Brundage Mountain wedding day was including their two German Shepherds, Lucy and Fleck in the day. Lucy had a floral collar while Fleck wore a plaid orange tie. Of course they took part in some photos too! I love being able to incorporate important moments into my clients’ day and this was no exception to that.

A Note to Jackie and Jon

Jackie and Jon, I love how you embraced the beautiful winter setting for your wedding day and that you involved primarily family in your day. It was so special to be included in such an intimate group of people to witness you begin your journey as husband and wife. Congratulations and enjoy all that this new chapter holds for you!
