Have you ever been scrolling through people on a dating app and recognized someone you worked with? What did you do? Did you immediately swipe away or would you take a chance? Alison and Keith took that chance. Needless to say it worked out pretty well for both of them because here they are planning their wedding day!
Alison and Keith love doing so many fun things together – from golfing, to biking, camping and travelling together, these two just enjoy doing it together! Alison says that they even enjoy doing things like cleaning out the garage as long as they’re together! When they first started dating, they went on a hike at Devil’s Lake. It was such a good memory that Keith decided it would be the perfect place to propose.
Keith describes Alison as warm, motivated, beautiful and cuddly while Alison describes Keith as confident, intelligent, funny, and loving. Both of them are most excited about marrying their best friend while throwing a fun party for all their friends and family this December (Did someone say TACOS?!).
These two make a great team and it was evident during their engagement session at Boerner Botanical Gardens. The gardens were just beginning to blossom and we had the perfect, warm May evening with the place almost all to ourselves! Talk about a dream! We were treated with some perfect golden hour glow too! This is a huge reason why I plan all of my engagement sessions around the sunset. Also, can I just say, these two followed my engagement session style guide to a T! Alison told me she read it from cover to cover – even getting a fresh French manicure and pedicure.
Alison and Keith, I am SO excited for your upcoming wedding day. Thank you so much for spending an evening with me! I can’t wait for you to see the rest, but here’s a few of my favorites from their engagement session!
Note: There is a permit fee for sessions at Boerner Botanical Gardens. Apply for a permit here!
